Conserve Water and Save Money
Scottsdale, Arizona - Benjamin Franklin Plumbing can help homeowners save a
few bucks each month with some simple fixes through a new rebate program
offered by the City of Scottsdale.
The City of Scottsdale water conservation program is offering homeowners a $75
rebate for every toilet they replace with a low-flow 1.6 gallon-per-flush model. In
addition, a $5 rebate is offered for replacing shower heads with models that have
a 2.75 gallons-per-minute or less flow.
Replacing showerheads and toilets is typically a quick and inexpensive fix,
according to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, which has locations throughout the
Valley.
"We commend the City of Scottsdale for taking a proactive approach to water
conservation," said Linda Stanfield, of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. "These
water-efficient upgrades save water and provide homeowners with notable
savings on their water bills each month. It's an easy way to make your home
more environmentally-friendly."
Only Scottsdale residents with homes connected to the city's water supply are
eligible for the program. Rebates are limited to two toilets and two showerheads
per household and are only available for homes built prior to January 1, 1992.
