Benjamin Franklin Plumbing| Second Ethics Award

Gilbert, Arizona - Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has been awarded the 2007 Ethics Award from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Central and Northern Arizona.

In 2003, the Benjamin Franklin location in Gilbert, then known as Stampede Plumbing, became the first plumbing company in Arizona to earn the BBB Ethics Award. Now it is the first plumber in the state to win the award twice.

"We are honored to receive the Ethics Award a second time," said Linda Stanfield, owner of Benjamin Franklin in Gilbert. "This signifies that there is a genuine appreciation for businesses like ours who are committed to exhibiting ethics in everything we do - from excellence in customer service to providing a supportive work environment for our employees."

Recipients of the BBB Ethics Award are nominated by other companies as well as customers. Nominees are then asked to submit a thorough application, and three finalists are chosen in five categories, based on company size.

Winners are chosen for their overall demonstration of ethical business practices and track record of customer and employee satisfaction.

Among the reasons Benjamin Franklin was honored is the company's punctuality guarantee. Benjamin Franklin promises on-time service or it pays the customer $5 for each minute (up to 60 minutes) the plumber arrives late for a service call.

The 2007 Ethics Awards were presented by the BBB at an annual dinner and awards ceremony held April 5 at Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is a full-service plumbing company serving the Valley for more than 30 years. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is licensed, bonded, and insured.

The Gilbert location was founded by Linda Stanfield in 1985.
